SAINT PETER, Minn. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday morning and four women's basketball players have made the grade.
Juniors
Ella Peters (River Falls, Wis.),
Whitley Ronn (Lakeville, Minn.), and

All student-athletes must adhere to certain criteria to be considered eligible for the award. In the classroom, student-athletes must hold at least a 3.50 GPA and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. On the court, student-athletes must either compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.

Ronn, a political science and business management double major, holds a 3.857 GPA and while a junior on the court, is a senior credit wise. Ronn started in all 24 games she played this season and averaged 7.7 points per game while leading the team with 23 blocks and stealing the ball away the second-most times, 52.
Schaefer, a Biology major, holds a 3.569 cumulative GPA and also stands as a senior in terms of credits while being a junior on the floor. Schaefer averaged 7.9 points per game and made the most three-pointers on the team this season while playing in 27 games and starting in 19. Her 213 points this season were the second-highest on the team.
Goodman, a Health and Physical Education major, holds a perfect 4.0 GPA so far. The sophomore Lakeville native is like her teammates Ronn and Schaefer, a year higher academically than on the court. Goodman had 131 assists this season, the most on the team by 73 and also stole the ball away 72 times. In addition to her work defensively and in helping her teammates, Goodman averaged 7.8 points per game and averaged 4.4 rebounds per game, the second highest on the team.
