TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) officially honored their Division III Men's Tennis All-Americans for the 2025-26 athletic year on Wednesday with
Gage Gohl,
Tyler Haddorff, and
Dominik Knutson of the No. 23 nationally-ranked Gustavus men's tennis team being recognized for their All-American accomplishments this past year.
Gohl was recognized for winning Division III Men's Singles All-American honors. The senior, who ended the year ranked No. 14 in the nation in singles, earned the national award three times over this past year: by winning the ITA Midwest Regional Singles Championship this past fall, by winning a first-round match at the ITA Cup, and by winning a round of singles in the NCAA Championships. This past fall, Gohl won six matches against the top regional opponents to advance to win the ITA Regional title. He then won two matches at the ITA Cup to advance to the national semifinals. In the NCAA Tournament, Gohl earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory over No. 13 Ethan Green of Denison in the first round of the tournament.
Knutson was also honored for earning a Division III Men's Singles All-American award. The junior, the No. 24 ranked singles player in the nation, earned his All-American honors in the NCAA Championships by winning his first-round match. Knutson defeated No. 9 Emil Grantcharov of UChicago in a hard-fought 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 upset victory.
The duo of Gohl and Haddorff both earned Division III Men's Doubles All-American honors. The Gusties' top doubles team, ranked No. 6 in the nation, earned their All-American honors in three ways: by winning five matches in a row at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships to win the regional doubles title, by their ITA Cup run in which they reached the national quarterfinals, and by their performance in the NCAA Doubles Tournament in which they finished as the national runners-up.
As a program this year, the Gusties men's tennis team finished the year 20-10 overall. In the MIAC, Gustavus won all nine matches to clinch their 56th overall and 37th consecutive MIAC Regular Season Championship, improving their all-time record in conference regular season games to 595-3. In the conference postseason, the Gusties won their 15th consecutive and 18th all-time MIAC postseason title.
