BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women's golf awards on Monday and
Annika Reierson was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. The Gusties' sole senior picked up her second consecutive MIAC honor after being named All-Conference last season.
Reierson led the team with an 81.4 average in 21 rounds this season. Reierson picked up a pair of top-10 finishes, one a seventh place finish at the Saint Benedict Invite and the other second place finish at Bethel's Rumble at the Ridge. The senior posted a four-over 76 at Bethel's invite to lead her team. She took 16th in her final MIAC Championship appearance, carding an 81-81-85-247 in the three round event. She finished her career leading her team not only as her captain, but also as the top finisher on five different occasions throughout the season.
Carleton's Carter Sichol was named the Player of the Year, while St. Catherine picked up Rookie (Grace Petzold) and Coach of the Year (Mary Giorgi).
