SAINT PETER, Minn. – The 2024 Academic All-District Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, was released Tuesday and four Gustavus student-athletes received recognition for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Academic All-District selections on the Gustie baseball team include Adam Biewen, Brady Schmitz, Sam Schneider, and Luke Siegle. 

To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have played in at least 90 percent of the team's competition throughout the season, which is a new athletic eligibility standard this year - moved up from 50 percent. Pitchers must have at least 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 2.
