ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's cross country team competed in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championship on Saturday at the Highland 9 Cross Country Trailhead. The Gusties finished third out of the field of 11 competing MIAC teams with 116 points.
No. 11 Carleton won the championship with a score of 30 points. No. 29 St. Olaf was the runner-up with 80 points.
Molly Liston led Gustavus at the championship, finishing third overall out of the field of 169 runners with a time of 21:46.8. Claire Vukovics (21:21.4) and Hannah Preisser (21:23.7) of Carleton were the only runners in the conference to finish ahead of Liston.
Addison Enfield had the second-best time for the Gusties, placing 14
th overall with a time of 22:42.7.
Anna Forbord followed at 18
th overall with a time of 23:00.1.
Francesca Geffre and
Anna Gould rounded out the top five finishers for Gustavus, tying for 47
th overall at 23:59.4.
Mackenzie Murphy (24:03.9) and
Siiri Anderson (25:11.1) had the sixth and seventh times for Gustavus, taking 56
th and 88
th overall.
