BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Gustavus junior Ella Peters (River Falls, Wis.) has been named this week's MIAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. 

In the Gusties' one matchup this week, Peters had a career-high 21 points for the Gusties in just 24 minutes against Northwestern-St. Paul. This included a 10-for-12 shooting performance from the floor and no help at the charity stripe. In addition to the 21-point performance, Peters brought down four rebounds and added an assist in the victory.  

The River Falls, Wis. native leads the Gusties in minutes, averaging 30.0 per game, along with points (11.9 per game) and rebounds (64 total), helping lead the Gustie offense so far this season. 

The Gusties are on holiday break until December 30th, when they host UW-Whitewater in a non-conference matchup to wrap up 2025.
