INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA released the 44-team bracket for the Division III Men's Tennis Championships on Monday and Gustavus is headed to the UW-Whitewater regional with a first round bye. The Gusties will face the winner of the host Warhawks and Luther on Saturday. 

No. 31 Gustavus earned an automatic qualifier to the national tournament by winning MIAC playoff championship and enters with a 19-11 overall record. The Gusties are making their 37th NCAA tournament appearance - the third most in Division III men's tennis history. No. 30 UW-Whitewater made the tourney after a 4-2 win over The College of New Jersey in the WIAC championship and owns a 16-5 overall record, while No. 58 Luther won the American Rivers Conference title with a 4-1 victory over Coe and is 21-5 overall. 

The top half of the regional bracket features No. 5 Chicago, who received a first round bye and enters with a 21-3 record. The Maroons will face the winner of No. 63 Grinnell and No. 56 Kalamazoo. Grinnell won the Midwest Conference and is 13-12 overall, while Kalamazoo is 15-5 overall and won the Michican Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament. 

First round matches will take place Friday, second round on Saturday, and the regional championship on Sunday.
