FARMINGTON, Minn. – Tessa Zachmann of the Gustavus Adolphus College women's soccer team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Zachmann had two goals and an assist this week against Macalester and Augsburg, helping lift the Gusties to their first win of the MIAC season. The junior's goal against Augsburg was the first game-winning goal of her career. The four goals against Augsburg were the most Gustavus had scored in a game this season and dating back to September 16th, 2025.
Gustavus women's soccer is back in action at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, traveling up to Superior, Wisconsin to take on UW-Superior.
