BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Dominik Knutson of the No. 21 nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Knutson won all three of his #2 singles matches at the ITA Men's Team Championship this past weekend against the No.1, No. 6, and No. 8 teams in the nation. The junior won 6-2, 6-2 against No. 1 Denison on Friday, earned a 6-3, 6-4 win over No. 6 Emory on Saturday, and took a 6-4, 6-0 victory verses No. 8 Swarthmore. Against No. 1 Denison, he also won his #2 doubles match 7-6 (7-5) with teammate

Up next for the Gusties is their trip to California over spring break, where they will compete in six matches. After an exhibition against Claremont-Mud-Scripps to open the trip on Monday, March 2, Gustavus will take on Caltech in a regular season match on Wednesday, March 4.
