BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Dominik Knutson of the No. 17 nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Knutson won both #2 doubles and #2 singles against No. 8 WashU, teaming up with
Takura Mhwandagara to win 6-1 in doubles and then earning a 6-4, 7-5 win in singles. The junior also won his #2 singles match against No. 15 Mary Washington in a 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 marathon.
Up next for Gustavus is a return home to Saint Peter to host the Carleton College Knights for a conference match on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Swanson Tennis Center.
