BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gage Gohl of the No. 23 nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Gohl led Gustavus to two MIAC wins this past weekend, going 4-0 at #1 singles and #1 doubles. The senior teamed up with
Tyler Haddorff to win #1 doubles 6-2 and took #1 singles 6-0, 7-6 (7-5) to hand Carleton their first conference loss of the season. In Sunday's win over Macalester, Gohl won #1 doubles 6-3 with Haddorff and then nearly swept #1 singles 6-0, 6-1.
Gustavus wraps up their regular season schedule on Saturday, April 25 at home against St. Scholastica at 3:30 p.m. for one more match before the MIAC Playoffs begin the following week.
