KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 10 nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men's basketball team has been named a 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award winner, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Wednesday. In addition, five Gustie student-athletes were named to the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
Gustavus men's basketball had a 27-3 record this past season, going 15-1 in the conference to repeat as MIAC Regular Season Champions and went on to win the MIAC Playoff Championship. In the NCAA Tournament, the Gusties advanced all the way to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2003.
