WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's golf team is out on the east coast this weekend, competing in the Williams Fall Invitational at Taconic Country Club. After the opening round of the two-day tournament, the Gusties stand in 13^th place out of the field of 15 teams with a first round score of +61.
 
Middlebury leads the field with a team score of +13. Willaims and Amherst round out the top three with scores of +20 and +21, respectively.
 
Teckla Wahlstrand leads the Gusties after the opening day of the tournament, shooting +10 through the first 18 holes to stand tied for 39^th overall out of the field of 74 golfers.
 
Karina Johnson shot +13 and is tied for 48^th overall. Riley Zebroski had a round of +18, standing tied for 62^nd overall. Addison Longie and Sarah Gutuza both shot +20 for the fourth counted Gustavus score and are tied for 66^th overall.
 
The Gusties will return to the course on Sunday, September 27 for the second and final round of the Williams Fall Invite with the tee times set for 8:30 a.m. CT.
