SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's hockey team was dealt a 5-1 loss Saturday night against Saint John's, dropping to 7-6-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the MIAC.
The Johnnies scored twice in the first period, once in the second, and another three minutes into the third period before the Gusties ended the shutout at the 3:25 mark of the final frame.

Kylar Fenton for his first goal of the season. The Johnnies added the final goal with six minutes left in the game for a 5-1 final.
Shots were even at 23 apiece as
Marko Belak made 18 saves. Gustavus went 0-for-6 in the power play and stopped 5-of-6 Johnnie advantages.
The Gusties face a pair of WIAC opponents next weekend - Friday night at UW-Superior and Saturday night at UW-River Falls.
