In her senior season season, Peterson, a four-time MIAC Player of the Year, led the Gusties in scoring with 37 points on 11 goals and 26 assists. Peterson led Division III in scoring by a defender at 1.32 points per game and ranked 16th in Division III among all players.

A two-year captain, Peterson finished her career with 185 points, breaking school and league records in the category. The total was also a Division III record for defensemen and also ranks third all-time among all players behind Hurd (237) and Elizabeth Gibson of Plattsburgh State (226). Peterson's 107 career assists were tied for second in Division III history behind Hurd (117), while her 23 power-play goals ranked fourth all-time in Division III and second in school history behind fellow Gustavus senior Kelly Crandall (24). Peterson also finished her career with 78 career goals, second in school history to Sarah Moe (80).

Peterson holds Gustavus' single-season record for goals with 32 (2004-05) and recorded at least a point in all but 15 of 115 games (87.0%) during her career. Peterson also tied Division III single-game records for points (8) and assists (6) in a game at St. Catherine on Feb. 11, 2005. Peterson was one of two Gusties to receive league MVP honors (Moe, 1999 & 2002) and the only MIAC women's hockey player to have been named MIAC Player of the Year more than twice.

In her senior year, Peterson and Erin Kegley of Wisconsin-Superior became the first four-time All-Americans from the West Region. Kegley finished runner-up to Peterson in voting for the Hurd Award. Peterson is the second College Division Player of the Year from Gustavus, joining Sarah Moe (2002).

2005-06 RBK Women's Division III Hockey First Team All-American

Peterson, the 2006 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year, finished the season as the second leading scorer in Division III women's hockey with 18 goals, and 30 assists for 48 points. The three-year standout was the Gusties' all-time leading scorer with 67 goals and 81 assists for 148 points. Peterson was also runner-up for this year's Division III Player of the Year award which was won by senior forward Emily Quizon of Middlebury College.

2004-05 AHCA West First-Team All-American

Andrea Peterson, who led the MIAC in scoring with 20 goals and 21 assists for 41 points, was honored as an All-American for the second consecutive year.  A starter on defense, Peterson quickly ,ade her mark as one of the finest players in league history. Through two seasons, the Vadnais Heights, Minnesota native has compiled 42 goals and 48 assists for 90 points which ranks sixth all-time at Gustavus. Peterson helped the Gusties post a record of 43-9-1 during her first two years.

2003-04 JOFA AHCA West First-Team All-American

Peterson made her first year of collegiate hockey one to remember as she was also named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, as well as being selected to the All-Rookie team. Peterson, who led the nation in scoring by a defenseman, finished with 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points. She became the second Gustavus player to receive MIAC Player of the Year honors following Sarah Garrison Moe (1999, 2002).
