BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Colin Androlewicz of the Gustavus Adolphus College men's hockey team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Hockey Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Androlewicz had 25 saves while allowing just one goal in a 1-1 tie that ended as a shootout victory for the Gusties over Colby on Sunday. The sophomore forced two misses by Colby in the 2-1 shootout victory for Gustavus.
Up next for the Gusties is a return to Minnesota to take on Augsburg University on Friday, December 5 on the road at 7:00 p.m.
