Hall of Fame
King Meserve is a two-time All-American, a 14-time MIAC All-Conference honoree, and a six-time MIAC champion whose 197 career points at MIAC Championships set a program record. She finished 12th and 14th in the 400-meter national championships in '04 and '02, respectively. King helped lead the Gusties to top-three team finishes in each of her four years, highlighted by two MIAC championship victories.
After graduating cum laude in 2004 with majors in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry, King Meserve pursued her medical degree and master’s in public health at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She is currently working as a pathologist for Spectrum Healthcare in Portland, Maine. Emily lives in Falmouth, Maine, with her husband, Judge, their children, James and Eleanor, and their dog, Emma.
