Bavery Lundstrum is an eight-time All-American, a 16-time MIAC All-Conference honoree, and a seven-time MIAC champion for the women’s track and field team. In 2009, she was named the MIAC Field Indoor Athlete of the Year and earned the MIAC Performance of the Meet in the pentathlon. Bavery Lundstrum twice finished as the national runner-up—in the 2008 outdoor heptathlon and 2009 outdoor high jump—and added multiple top-eight national finishes in the pentathlon, high jump, and 4x400-meter relay.
After graduating in 2010 with majors in chemistry and biochemistry, Bavery Lundstrum started working as an analytical chemist for 3M. She is currently employed as a senior analytical chemist for Solventum. From 2012-13 Bavery Lundstrum took a leave from 3M and was contracted as a professional rugby player for USA Rugby. She has earned over 100 caps in the WPL for The Twin Cities Amazons. Kaelene lives in Oakdale, Minn., with her wife Anna, their son Levi, and daughter Shay.
