Mackley Kenevan is a two-time All-American and two-time MIAC All-Conference honoree for the women’s hockey team. She was named an NCAA Woman of the Year Finalist, a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American, the Gustavus Female Student-Athlete of the Year, and an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship award winner during her senior season. Mackley Kenevan finished her career as one of the top scorers in the programs history with 33 goals, recorded 69 assists for 102 points in 114 games.
After graduating summa cum laude in 2010 with a degree in biology, Mackley Kenevan attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, earning her M.D. in 2015. She completed an anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education from 2016 to 2019 and has served as an anesthesiologist for the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, since 2020. Melissa lives in Hudson with her husband, Fitz, their daughter, Gloria, and their dog, Theo.
